About Us
In 1988, Rev. Phillip L. Cook was pastoring a small congregation and serving as administrator of a Christian Campground just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the time, Phillip was recovering from wounds inflicted by Satan that were nearly fatal to his ministry, his family and even his own salvation.The "amazing grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the mighty work of the Holy Spirit, prompted by the prayers and love of the Christian community around the world, prevailed in Phillip’s life.
Phillip began ministering to others in the body of Christ who had been broken or wounded. In the years since then, Wounded Warrior Ministries has reached out to numerous fallen, defeated and in many cases, forgotten leaders. Through this ministry of healing and hope, many individuals have been restored to spiritual wholeness, and often been able to return to positions as powerful and effective ministers.
